Adult Ministries

Because our mission is to glorify God by preparing people to follow Jesus and to reproduce His life in others, we have found it beneficial to offer additional opportunities to grow in your walk with the Lord. Throughout the year seminars and various other classes are offered.

Bible Study

Adult Electives and Small Churches

These are groups of about 15-40 people who are similar in age or have similar ministry interests. They meet during the Sunday morning services to help adults of all ages apply Biblical truth to life. They also provide a place for developing friendships and ministering to one another. New classes may be forming soon. Check the bulletin for specific topics.

Groups meet at the 10:45 a.m. ministry hour:

  • Bible Basics: A Bible study lead by our senior pastor focused on learning the basics of Bible study and interpretation.  It is held in the church sanctuary and open to all.
  • Cornerstone: Our desire is to make Christ the cornerstone of our lives by: reaching out to help those in need, encouraging and supporting each other, and growing through teaching and applying the truth. Cornerstone is primarily made up of couples in their 30's and 40's with children.
  • Berea: A ministry of young and not so young singles and couples emphasizing evangelism, discipleship, and fellowship around the person of Jesus Christ.
  • Encouragers: A group of married, single or widowed senior adults who meet together to study God's Word, socialize and encourage each other.
  • Kingsfolk: A wonderful spirit of caring has developed in this diverse group of married and single people, whose focus is on the teaching of the Word of God and prayer.
  • Young Adults: A dynamic group of young adults, approximate ages 18-23, whose focus is on building relationships and encouraging each other in spiritual growth through Bible studies, topical studies and social events.

Women's Bible Studies

Various book and/or video studies are held during the year to encourage women in their relationship with the Lord and with each other. Opportunities are announced in the bulletin.

Service Opportunities

Unity in Service

Unity in Service groups are hospitality groups that take turns providing food, set-up, and clean-up for funerals and all-church special events. By being a part of a group, each member has an opportunity to help with little things that show Christ’s love in a big way and demonstrate His loving witness to the community. Each group serves approximately two times a year.
