Harvest Festival The second annual Harvest Festival held at our church was a huge success! Approximately 55 middle school and high school students and 21 adult youth sponsors ran 17 games and activity stations and 10 doors and rooms for the trick or treat lane. Many rooms had special activities in them such as a huge box maze, a glow room, and a beach party room filled with balloons. Also, there was a digital photo area where children and families could have their pictures taken and then made into buttons or mouse pads. There were prizes given for the carnival games and 12 Bibles were given away as door prizes. Food was provided--popcorn, juice, cookies, and hotdogs. There were approximately 110 children and 100 adults who attended. The Harvest Festival was a blessing to all who attended and we thank the people who volunteered their time and talents, equipment and supplies and to everyone from the congregation who helped by donating candy and pop. Thanks for making this both an outreach to our community and a blessing to those within our fellowship! |
