Jesus said, "Let the little
children come to me for theirs is the kingdom of God." Through
various ministries, we strive to teach and nurture our children.
Nursery
Loving, nurturing care is provided for infants and toddlers during
both Sunday morning services. Silent pagers are given to parents/guardians
so they may worship and attend classes knowing they will be called
if they are needed.
Children's Sunday School
We offer classes Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. for children from 2-1/2
yrs. through 5th grade. Each class incorporates Bible stories, songs
and games designed to captivate and challenge the children to grow
in their relationship with Christ.
Wee Worship
Starting this fall, a time of stories, play and varied activities
will be offered on Sundays during the 10:30 a.m. worship service
for children 3 to 5 years old. Children are dismissed from the service
during announcements.
Girl's Club
Girls (1st - 5th grades) learn Christian values through class time,
crafts, games, memorization, and music. They meet in room 220 Wednesday
evenings from 6:30 to 8:00 P.M. during the school year (October through
May).
Boy's Club
Boys, ages 6 years through fifth grade (fathers encouraged to come)
meet in room 217 Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:00 P.M during the
school year(October through May) for games, crafts, Bible story time,
and memorization.
Summer Camps - We encourage our children
to attend Christian camps, and support the Evangelical Free Church's
sponsored camp, Camp
Shamineau, with scholarships for regular attenders of Children's
Sunday School. |
